We where then shown how to strip down this 'Basic 24 Frame Walk Cycle' into 12 Frames, then down to 8 and finally right down to 4, concentrating looking at the timing and how the frames are held in-conjunction to the amount of frames that you use; 'fudging the timing'.
here is an 8 frame walk cycle i made of a little robot during our strip down
- the pixalation was fun, and i think it turned out okay
- the workshop with Ben was a good experience
What could be improved?
- i wished i had more time to completely animate my character. And to animate it to a better standard.
- My 2D walk cycle is really rugged and jagged
