I was unable to download indesign due to technical difficulties. So I had to make my art book in another program. Which really sucks because I know it's look so much better in InDesign and it's an industry standard program. But at this point I don't have the time or energy trolling through the internet to look for fixes or work around. So anyway, I have made some designs specifically for the art book but also for the visual developer in me that wants to finally be free. I created a theatre for Ellie to perform in. It is partially basses on the comic I made. I was going for an art deco style. It's the first time I've ever done a background where I've had to consider different angles. I really wanted to push myself. Although I definitely won't have time to colour it before the deadline, I probably will afterwards.
I also made some custom typography. It's based in rage italic but I joined all the letters up and made it a bit more swirly. I also made a watercolour style background
